Band Objectives

 

1.             To foster and train young musicians in the Auckland community.

2.             To promote big band music,vocal and musical activities in the Auckland community.

3.             To promote and maintain the Queen City Big Band.

 

The band's musicians and vocalists are the society's paramount concern.  The band exists for their development.  Queen City Big Band develops the skills and character of young people and adds to the diversity and richness of the arts & culture in Auckland City.
